Dear Stefan, I jumped yesterday to Bern, Switzerland. Tomorrow I drive back to Hamburg. In the meantime I post for you some curious images from here. Next day I will post some more stuff about "Bags & Shoes"...

In Versailles

Hi Andreas,

this is NOT an attempt by the German Secret Service (BND) to listen to passengers on international flights over Paris, but our sound man Hannes Ullmann working his magic during the filming of "Ludwig II" in Versailles just before sunrise. I am still shooting the stills for the project, 3 more weeks to go until we will wrap up in Munich. As much as I like working on this movie and seeing the results every night ... I can't wait to get back to Brooklyn, I am homesick up to my ears .... (Below: Arrival in Versailles by bus)

Hello Andreas,

I liked your last PDF a lot, and what a great way to present it (via iSSUU). 

I went to the opening at fotodoks, a young documentary photography festival in Munich. Our friend Joerg Glaescher (above) was present with images from his long term project about German soldiers "Tod Kommt Spaeter, Vielleicht", a soon to be book by Kehrer Verlag. Michael Wolf's Tokyo subway series (below)was also part of the official program. Since both photographers are represented by laif (like us) it was no surprise that I met laif CEO Peter Bitzer at the opening. It was a fun night, more info about the festival here:

Dear Stefan, I hope you are well in Munic and I hope you dont miss NY too much. I know tomorow is the opening of Foto Docs in Munic and I wish to be there. Perhaps you have time to enjoy the opening. My friend Jörg Gläscher will also exhibit his latest work about the German Army...

Here now some new shots from Bern and Zürich, where I had some fantastic meetings with the "DU-Magazin" and "Das Magazin". The time between I used for some photographs on the street... All the best from here to there - Andreas
